Remarks                                 :

This is in many ways not a typical Dixon tool. The most remarkable  thing is the closing part. The back of the closer to where the turning handle is fixed is more like a Hawksley. It is a model with an internal closing cup, what is extremely rare for Dixon. In this whole collection, there is only one Dixon tool like this. The suspension of the closing part to the main body is different. A Dixon suspension is wider.

The top of the main body through which the pipe of the funnel comes is not according Dixon’s tradition.

The catalogue number 2208 is not found in the old catalogue.

So maybe it is more or less a Hawksley from after 1947.
