The 1882 catalogue describes this tool as:
“1105 Hard Soldered Powder Measure with Boxwood handle”
This tool doesn’t carry the name “Dixon & Sons”. It is made for Capewell & Son, possibly a gunshop in the UK. I couldn’t find this name in the 2 volumes of “British Gunmakers” by Nigel Brown
