The 1883 catalogue describes this tool as:
“1109 Best Hard Soldered Measure, for shot only with ebony handle. 1109B means “Best Nickel Silver”
The catalogue number is not printed on this tool. But it is mostly like 1109-3. The main difference is the nickel silver finish and the little screw to lock the cup.
This tool is quite different from the ones listed on this website as 1109-1 and 1109-2. Both have 5 or 6 shot weights. This tool has only 2 possibilities. Also the position of the scales. This tool has the scale at the front. The other ones have it at the side.
